What is the future of (art in) prisons? The final event in our Friday night debates series takes a closer look at what we have learnt throughout the duration of the I AM THE COYOTE exhibition, and asks what the future of arts and creative programmes in prisons should be. What will the prisons of the future look like? Do politicians and the public support spending money on creative programmes in prisons? And what are the challenges that prisoners face when they re-enter the community? Guest speakers will include artist and ex Head of Art at HMP Humber’s Graft Studio Graeme Brooks, prison workers and local politicians.
Debate evenings are intended as interactive talks with the public, so feel free to come along with questions and ideas to put forward
