Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights (1847), hosted by Ruth Quinn
Wuthering Heights (1847) is the first Brontë novel to be featured by the Reading Group, so if you’re a fan this is a must-attend session! The novel is best known for drawing on its setting of the beautiful but inhospitable Yorkshire moors that seems to not only impact the narrative of the plot, but the characters themselves. The setting is of particular relevance for the host, Ruth Quinn, whose research with the Human Geography department focuses on Saltaire as a Brontë heritage site.
Cost: Free Admission – All welcome but booking is required in order to guarantee a place and to enable us to ensure we have an adequately sized room booked for the session. For more information and to book online, please click here.
