The Symphonie pour une Femme Seule is an intermedia work by Brice Catherin (composition, text and concept), Manon Parent (performance art), Irene Gil Lopez (art installation), Mélissa Garcia Carro and Emilia Giudicelli (videos). The performers are Simon Desbruslais (trumpets, piano, voice), Ensemble Fractus, and guest improvisers from all over the UK.
It is a work about freedom, about idiosyncrasies, about being oneself, about discovering oneself, about trust, about being together, about discovering the other, about sound, about images, about space, about shimmering fires, about beauty in all things, about listening, watching and feeling, about transfiguration, about giving oneself to the world, about love.
Admission is free and all are welcome. Booking is required.
