The Battle of the Atlantic over Two World Wars

This lecture will compare the Royal Navy’s performance in trade protection against submarines in the Atlantic theatre over the two World Wars to test the common view the Navy had a bad First World War and a good Second.
Entry is free and no ticket is needed. Places are on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, so latecomers may not be admitted when the lecture room is full.
Doors open for tea and coffee at 5.30pm; seminar commences 6pm.
